Festive Wreath Making
A festive evening of creativity and good company. Come along and make a wreath you’re proud to hang on your front door. All materials and refreshments included. Booking is essential.
Christingle Service
A family-friendly celebration filled with light and making your own Christingles. Book to let us know you’re coming so we have enough oranges, sweets and candles!
Carols By Candlelight
A candlelit service of traditional organ-led carols and readings, held in the peaceful beauty of St Andrew’s. This is one of the most loved moments of our Christmas season — a time to pause, lift our voices, and take in the hope and wonder of Christ’s birth. Surrounded by candlelight and familiar carols, we’ll hear the story of Christmas told through Scripture and song.
Contemporary Carols
An uplifting evening of carols, band-led worship, and an encouraging message of hope. This service brings together modern Christmas songs, reflective moments, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
Crib Service
A joyful, all-age retelling of the nativity story, full of fun, warmth, and Christmas imagination. Children (and grown-ups!) are invited to come dressed as their favourite nativity character — shepherds, angels, stars, animals, wise men, and more. Together we’ll step into the story of Jesus’ birth with readings, carols, and plenty of interactive moments. It’s a wonderful way for families to celebrate the heart of Christmas and enjoy being part of the story. Everyone is welcome.
Midnight Communion
A peaceful and reflective Communion service to begin Christmas, accompanied by the beauty of the organ. In the quiet of Christmas Eve, we gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus with Scripture, prayer, and the sharing of bread and wine. This gentle evening service offers a moment of calm and stillness before the festivities of Christmas Day, grounding us again in the hope and light of Christ’s coming. All are warmly invited to join us as we enter Christmas in worship together.
Christmas Day Service
A joyful Christmas morning celebration for the whole family. We’ll gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus with carols, a short all-age message, and Holy Communion as we begin Christmas Day in worship. Children are warmly encouraged to bring along a present to show everyone. While the service includes Communion and space for reflection, it remains welcoming and accessible for all ages. Whether you’re a regular at St Andrew’s or visiting with family, you’ll find a warm invitation to come and share in the hope and joy of Christmas together.
Harvest All Age Service
🌾✨ You’re invited! Join us for our Harvest Service on Sunday 12th October at 10am here at St Andrew’s.
It’s an all-age service – with lots of fun for the kids to get involved with, and plenty for the adults too!
🍞 We’ll be collecting an offering for the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal 2025, in partnership with Mission Direct, helping to provide classrooms for children in Uganda and Zambia.
🥫 We’re also receiving non-perishable food donations for the local Food Bank – let’s bless our community together.
🍽️ After the service, stay for a Bring & Share Lunch!
If you’d like to bring a dish, please do – and it helps if you can include a note of the ingredients for those with allergies.

Join us for an afternoon of adventure and fun in the great outdoors! We’ll be heading to Whippendell Wood for den building, games, hot chocolate, and plenty of laughs along the way. It’s the perfect chance to spend time together, enjoy nature, and make some great memories.
A Night Of Music
Night of Music – Friday 5th September, 7:30pm at St Andrew’s
Join us for a special evening of live music at St Andrew’s Church, featuring a beautiful blend of classical, jazz and popular pieces performed by The Rodwells and Friends.
Whether you’re a music lover or just looking for a relaxing night out, this promises to be an uplifting and memorable event.
Tickets £10 – all funds go towards supporting the work of St Andrew’s in the community.
Refreshments will be available during the evening.

Quiz Night - In Aid Of Christian Aid
It's quiz time! Our next Quiz Night in aid of Christian Aid is happening the day before Star Wars Day, 3rd May at 7.45pm. Gather your team together and pick a captain, or just book by yourself and we can put you in a team.

Lent Course
This Lent, we're going to be journeying through Practicing the Way, a course designed to help us deepen our relationship with God through intentional spiritual practices. Together, we'll explore how to follow Jesus more closely in our daily lives. The course begins on Wednesday 12th March at 7.45 pm and will run weekly. Whether you're new to faith or have been journeying for years, this is a great opportunity to grow, reflect, and encourage one another.
Ash Wednesday Service
As we begin the season of Lent together. This reflective service will include the marking of ashes on the forehead, a sign of repentance and commitment to follow Jesus.

Crib Service
Join us for a joyful Christmas Eve Crib Service at St. Andrew’s! We’ll bring the Christmas story to life in an interactive way where everyone can participate. From acting out key moments to singing carols, there’s something for all ages.
We’d love for you to come dressed as a nativity character! Whether you're Mary, Joseph, one of the wise men, a shepherd, or even the donkey, you’ll be part of the story.

Festive Wreath Workshop
Join our Festive Wreath Workshop for a lovely Christmassy evening with others! Create a stunning wreath with fresh greens, berries, and ribbons, and learn tips to make it uniquely yours. Celebrate the season with creativity and joy! We’ll have Christmas music playing, mulled wine and Christmassy treats to nibble but feel free to bring along a bottle of something tasty too!

Join us for an evening of carols and Christmas songs under the stars in the St. Andrew's churchyard. Gather with friends, family, and our community as we celebrate the joy of the season with carols and festive music. Warm up with delicious hot chocolate and mulled wine!
Wrap up in cosy layers and bring your singing voices. Can’t wait to get in the Christmas spirit with you!
Light Party
A fun-filled afternoon of crafts, games, and a disco aimed for children aged 3-11 (younger children welcome to join in). Dress up in your favourite costumes and enjoy the fun on 31st October from 2-4pm. The event will be held in the church (entry at main doorway). All kids must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Summer Fete 2024
We are so excited for our summer fete this year! It’s happening on the 7th September from 12pm until 3pm. We are going to have loads going on from a bouncy castle to a cream tea, to a book stall, loads of fun activities to get involved with and a bbq to enjoy! We can’t wait to see you there!
